Ballet Mécanique (The Iron Foundry) - Rare Futurist Program

Original 1930s program from a performance of Adolph Bolm's ballet, "The Spirit of the Factory" known also as Ballet mécanique (not to be confused with the 1924 composition by George Antheil), Mechanical Ballet, and The Iron Foundry. Bolm's ballet was premiered at the Hollywood Bowl in 1931, the present performance having occured soon thereafter.

The folding complete program deistributed by post, with usual folds, stamp remnant and featuring a very fine futurist illustration byNicolas Remisoff. Measures 15.5 x 43.5 cm overall. Rare. (5908)
