Provocative and rare original performance photograph of the great French actress and singer, shown in a stage routine with Fred Wright, both of them lying on their backs, legs fully up in the air! 10 x 15 cm, on thin photo paper, mounted to a slighly larger album page and in very fine condition.Her risqué routines captivated Paris and she went on to become the most popular French entertainer of her time and the highest paid female entertainer in the world. In 1919 her legs were insured for the then astounding amount of 500,000 francs. (5735)
