Vintage postcard photograph of the superb French violinist, boldly inscrbed and initialled in blue ink ("Enfin je suis tempi sous la coupe - d'se Berka mon vieux copain. S.G.") and in fine condition.



With Django Reinhardt, he was the principal member of the Quintette du Hot Club de France (formed in 1934) and was a pioneer of the jazz violin. He is responsible for many heavenly recordings. (5348)
