Autograph musical quotation from the Russian composer and critic of French-Lithuanian descent, a member of "The Five" or "The Mighty Handful," best known for his operas. The composer has boldly penned on a oblong slip [n.p., 1910], two bars of music from an unidentified composition, possibly from one of his Three Scherzos, Op. 82 composed in the year of the present quotation. 4.3 x 14 cm and in very fine condition. Sold together with a reproduction cardstock photograph. Manuscript music and AMQS from Cui are highly uncommon. (5334)
