Bold autograph signature from the Italian-born actor who became the most legendary sex symbol of the silent era. His premature death from a perforated ulcer induced a wave of fan hysteria unmatched until the modern “paparazzi” age, including riots and suicide attempts by grief-stricken fans. Neatly penned on a card, 3 x 8.25 cm, in fine condition with paper-clip stain along right edge and sold together with a vintage photograph bearing his stamped signature and salutation.
