Autograph Signature and Driver's License of the Cowardly Lion!

A unique item from the Tony Award-winning American actor and comedian, best remembered today for his role as the Cowardly Lion and the farmworker Zeke in the classic 1939 movie "The Wizard of Oz," but who was well known during his life for work in burlesque, vaudeville, and Broadway.

Lahr's personally owned and used 1937 "Operator's License" from the State of California. A little worn, as expected, but overall in fine condition. Sold together with a nice "matching" autograph album page, with a bold pencil signature from Lahr. (4946)
