Unusual color lithograph printed as a color plate from an October 18, 1882 issue of the New York humor magazine "Puck." 20 x 13 inches and in good condition aside from light age toning and a central publisher's fold (as issued). Some of the figures shown include:
opera diva, Adelina Patti; soprano, Pepi Gallmeyer; soprano, Christina Nilsson; actor, Tommaso Salvini; actor, Edwin Booth; American actress, Lotta Mignon Crabtree; actress, Lillie Langtry, who is shown swooping through the center of the image as "The Prince of Wales Comet." Unusual! (4938)
