From the most famous actress of the 19th century, known as “The Divine Sarah.” Vintage Reutlinger postcard photograph, boldly signed in fountain pen and inscribed "Que la vie vous soit -- charme." 9 x 14 cm and in very fine condition.The image is of Bernhardt in the stage play La princesse Lointaine by Edmond Rostand, which she played for the first time in 1895, at the Renaissance Theatre in Paris. Bernhardt's diadem is designed by René Lalique. (4843)
