Pair of vintage photographs of the great cellist, shown as he is greeted with a warm embrace by conductor, Adrian Boult. According the 1963 press clipping on the verso, Casals had just returned to London for the first time in 18 years, in order to conduct an LPO performance of his own oratorio, "El Pessebre."
