ALS of the Romanian pianist to Hans Ninck in Winterthur, Switzerland. In French. Vevey, Switzerland, June 29, 1944. 2 pp. Single leaf, with original envelope. Haskil thanks Ninck for an engagement in Winterthur and mentions her upcoming concerts with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in Geneva and Lausanne, under the baton of Pierre Colombo (1914-2000), with a remark that Geneva has not heard her since 1925. She expect to spend the month of August at a town named Berg (in Thurgau) and hopes to see Mr. Ninck there. Hans Ninck (1893-1985) was an architect in Winterthur. An excellent pianist himself, he supported the arts as a philanthropist. A competition at the Musikhochschule in Winterthur is named after him. 8.25 x 5.75 inches (21 x 14.5 cm). Very fine.
