A fine early issue of this enormous conductor's score, with the number 409 stamped at the head of the Personen page. In very fine condition throughout and bound in a striking and unique period presentation binding: Full stamped vellum, all 8 corners with ornate brass plates (the bottom plates having feet for resting on a table!), elaborate seal (13 x 13 cm) in bronze and inlaid enamel affixed to front cover and portraying a female figure with crown, wings, clawed feet and tail, seal and all corners decorated additionally with large inlaid white and coral stone/crystal.
