A bold fountain pen signature by the great Czech composer, on an off-white sheet, dated 11.6.1896. Janacek's signature appears beneath a list of other names on a document relating to his work at the Brno Organ School which he founded in 1881 and at which he remained as its director until 1919. 9.5 X 15 inches, almost completely separated at horizontal crease along center, not affecting Janacek's signature.
