A superb signed original self-portrait drawing by the great Russian basso, who was - like Caruso - greatly celebrated for his caricature portraits. In pencil, signed and dated 1927 in his hand, one horizontal crease, otherwise in very fine condition. Approx. 13 X 17, nicely double-matted and set in a gold wood frame to 27 X 30.5 cm overall.
