A rather cryptic original telegram sent by the Italian composer from Genoa, to his publisher Giulio Ricordi in Milan in 1886. In full: "Following your telegram I am eagerly awaiting well-known person, Keep it Secret. Verdi." 17 X 18.5 cm. Usual folds, overall in very good condition. (2827)TLS Opera
