A rare signed photograph of the Italian composer and pianist. Today, Alfano is best known for completing Puccini's unfinished opera "Turandot"in 1926, but he had considerable success with his own works during his lifetime. His "Cyrano de Bergerac" was revived not long ago at the Metropolitan Opera with Placido Domingo in the title role.7.5 X 12.5 cm. In fine condition. (2495)
