Edinburgh International International Festival of Music & Drama, guest performances of The Glyndebourne Opera with double bill of Le Bourgeois gentilhomme by Molière and Ariadne auf Naxos (original version) by Hugo von Hofmannsthal and Richard Strauss, August 21–September 9, 1950. With a photographic portrait of German-Austrian soprano Hilde Zadek (1917–2019) pasted in, inscribed "With kindest regards / Hilde Zadek". Zadek performed as Ariadne. 9 x 5.75 inches (22.7 x 14.5 cm). Newspaper clippings pasted in; annotations in the hand of John Charles. Wrappers slightly frayed at edges, else in very good condition.
2. Edinburgh International International Festival of Music & Drama, guest performances of The Glyndebourne Opera with La Cenerentola by Rossini., August 24–September 12, 1953. Signatures of Alda Noni (1916–2011), Fernanda Cadoni (?–?), Marina de Gabarain (1917–1972), Juan Oncina (1921–2009), and Sesto Bruscantini (1919–2003) (i.e. the non-British singers in the cast) to cover. 9 x 5.75 inches (22.7 x 14.5 cm). Wrappers frayed at edges, else in very good condition. Newspaper clipping with obituary for Noni laid in.

Performance of Verdi's Requiem at the Royal Festival Hall, London, on June 23, 1957, "in memory of Maestro Guido Cantelli, who died in an air-crash on November 23rd, 1956," with an all-Italian cast. Signed by conductor Argeo Quadri (1911–2004), contralto Fedora Barbieri (1920–2003) and tenor Giacinto Prandelli (1914–2010). 9.75 x 7 inches (25 x 18.4 cm). Somewhat worn; in good condition overall.
5. Concert of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Royal Festival Hall, London, on February 2, 1957. Signed by conductor Stanley Pope (1916–1995). 8.5 x 5.25 inches (21.2 x 13.6 cm). In very good condition overall.
6. Concert of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Royal Festival Hall, London, on March 3, 1958, conducted by French conductor Jean Martinon (1910–1976). No signatures to program, but much later post card with inscription by Martinon laid in, "To the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, to all of you I wish happiness, succès [in French] and lot of ... Musique and Money! for 1976 / Jean Martinon."
7. Song recital of Yugoslav (Bosnian) soprano Sena Jurinac (1921–2011), accompanied by British pianist Gerald Moore (1899–1987), at Royal Festival Hall, London, on April 11, 1958. Signed by Jurinac only. 8.5 x 5.5 inches (21.8 x 14 cm). In fine condition.
8. Piano recital of Ukrainian-born pianist Lev Pouishnoff (1891–1959) at the Liverpool Stadium, June 24, 1958. Paper slip signed by the pianist (as "Leff Pouishnoff") pasted to inside back cover. 8.5 x 5.5 inches (21.6 x 14 cm). In fine condition.
9. Summer concert of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra at Town Hall, Torquay, on August 13, 1958. Signed by British conductor Charles Groves (1915–1992) and Hungarian-British piano soloist Joseph Weingarten (1911–1996). 8.5 x 5.5 inches (21.6 x 14 cm). Small stain to back cover; in good condition overall.
10. Song recital by British bass Owen Brannigan (1908–1973) and British pianist/composer Gerald Gover (?-?) at Houldsworth Hall, Manchester, on February 7, 1961. Signed by both. 8.75 x 5.5 inches (22.7 x 13.8 cm). Vertical fold; in very good condition overall.
11. Sir Malcolm Sargent (1895–1967) 70th Birthday Concert by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society, April 20, 1965. Signed by Sargent and British tenor soloist Alexander Young (1920–2000). 8.5 x 5.5 inches (21.5 x 14 cm). In fine condition.
12. Duo recital of Sri Lankan cellist Rohan de Saram (b. 1939) and British pianist Ralph Leavis (1934–2019) at Manchester, December 17, 1965. Signed by both musicians; de Saram signed both in Latin script and in the script of his native language. 8.75 x 5.75 inches (22.5 x 14.3 cm). Vertical fold, else in very good condition.
13. Concert of the Birmingham Grammar Schools' Festival Choir and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra with King David by Honegger on March 14, 1969. Signed by the four vocal soloists—Angela Beale (?-?), Margaret Duckworth (?-?, better known as the founder of a choir, the Margaret Duckworth singers), Philip Russell (?-?), and Richard Baker (?-?)—and the conductor, Christopher Robinson (b. 1936). 9.75 x 7.5 inches (24.9 x 19 cm). In very good condition.
