Signed photograph of the Spanish mezzo-soprano and her piano accompanist (and husband, 1957–77), also Spanish, seated at a table.  Mounted and matted; signatures to lower margin of mat.  11 x 8 inches (27.9 x 20.3 cm).  In fine condition. 

Berganza and Lavilla had three children together.  Berganza was particularly famous as an interpreter of Rossini and noted for singing roles traditionally transposed up (such as Rosina in The Barber of Seville) in their original key. (22916)
