Vienna: Diabelli & Comp. [1825]. First Edition. Unbound oblong folio. Engraved. PN D. et C. No. 2074. 11 pp. Title in French. Blindstamp of C. F. Schubert's 34 Valses sentimentales, published as his Opus 50, appeared in two volumes ("cahiers"), of which this is the second. They belong to those of his works that caught on immediately. Schubert was really the first major composer to produce Viennese waltzes and his works in the form transcend performative function.  (22202)
