Anger, Kenneth. (b. 1927), Time Must Have a Stop: Icons and Statements (Vienna: PVS, 1995 [?]). Book not identified with certainty. Oblong format, 11 x 8.25 inches (27.5 x 21 cm). Anger was the first filmmaker in Hollywood producing movies with openly gay themes.

Memphis is the city where the actor was indicted on federal charges of "conspiracy to distribute obscenity across state lines" in 1974 for acting as the male lead in the porn movie Deep Throat (1972). He was convicted in 1975, but the decision was overturned in the following year, and the charges were dropped.
