TLS with handwritten additions from the Polish-born pianist, harpsichordist, composer and pioneer of the early music movement. In French, to a male recipient with the last name of Bus, apparently a journalist. 1 p. Leaf with Landowska's letterhead. Paris, August 26, 1925. In typescript, Landowska thanks the recipient for a letter and for an article he published in the daily Le Figaro. "I was very happy, this corresponds so much to my ideal of the press: they are friends who must talk to us as only they and no one else are capable of rendering the intimate ties between human existence and the artist." She announces that she has selected a property at Saint-Leu to set up her school (to be known as "École Wanda Landowska").
