Original Photograph

Original double-weight photograph by the American photographer, showing the singer-songwriter and musician with Jerry Wexler and Dr. John Rebennack during a recording session with Doug Sahm at Atlantic Records, 1973. Photographer's stamp and handwritten notations to verso. Small crease to lower right, overall in fine condition. 10 x 8 inches (25.4 x 20.3 cm.).

“Doug had a hit record (“She’s About A Mover”) and I had a hit record (“Like A Rolling Stone”) at the same time (1965). So, we became buddies back then, and we played the same kind of music. We never really broke apart. We always hooked up at certain intervals in our lives.” ~Bob Dylan to Douglas Brinkley, Rolling Stone, May 11, 2009
