"Death of a Salesman" - Signed Promotional Photograph

Columbia Pictures promotional photograph for the 1951 film adaptation of Arthur Miller's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Death of a Salesman, signed by the American actor in black felt tip. In the acclaimed screen adaptation of the play, March offers a powerful performance as Willy Loman, the over-the-hill drummer who faces a personal turning point when he loses his job and attempts to make peace with his family and his life.  Interestingly, March had been considered for the part of Willy Loman in the original production of the play, but turned it down after reading the script.  In very fine condition.  8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm.).

March was one of the leading Hollywood stars of the 1940s and 50s and is one of only two actors to have won both an Academy Award and a Tony Award twice.
