Signed doubleweight Fernand de Gueldre of Chicago portrait photograph the Mexican tenor and film actor who retired from show business to become a Franciscan friar. Mojica has inscribed to Charles Drumheller, tenor and longtime rehearsal pianist at the Metropolitan and Chicago Lyric Opera: "To my friend Chas. H. / Drumheller a remembrance / of our 1924–25 season—Most / sincerely / José Mojica / Chicago Civic Opera."
