The typed press blurb affixed to verso reads in part, "Red-haired screen actress Susan Hayward is shown at North Hollywood Receiving Hospital, to which she was rushed today unconscious from an apparent overdose of sleeping pills. The actress who divorced her husband, Jess Barker, in a bitter court battle last year and who failed in an apparent reconciliation attempt yesterday, was found sprawled on the living room floor of her lavish San Fernando Valley home. Later the actress was removed to Cedars of Lebanon Hospital. A nurse is shown standing by preparing the actress for stomach pump treatment. / D.4.26.55." There is an additional Spanish-language press caption and three stamps to verso, including an INP photographer's stamp and two stamps from the archives of the Havana-based magazine Bohemia.
