Autograph album leaf with an exceptionally early signature from the superb fiddler, who was only 14 when he signed and dated "Budapest / Oct. 25, 1932" in pencil. Two additional signatures to verso, from the dynamic Hungarian pianist Annie Fischer and an unknown individual named Mykysha Taras, likely a Hungarian conductor. Light toning, overall in fine condition. 4.75 x 3 inches (12.1 x 7.6 cm.).A specialist in the 19th century bravura repertory, Ricci studied with Persinger, Piastro and Kulenkampff, and was widely acclaimed for his technical prowess. He was the first to record the 24 Paganini Caprices in their original version. (19966)
