Signed Wehnert-Beckmann of Wien cabinet photograph of the great pianist and composer, who has inscribed to verso, translated from the German, "To Herr Kallo [Katto?] / with friendly memories of Clara Schumann / Berlin, 17 May 1862."  Mild toning and edgewear, overall in fine condition.  2.5 x 4 inches (6.35 x 10.2 cm.).

Though uncrossed, we think it a strong possibility that the double letters in the name of the dedicatee are "T" and that the inscription may be to the noted Belgian engraver and music publisher J.B. Katto.  (19911)
