Raymond Duncan was a philosopher, printer, dancer, designer, theater manager, and part of the Arts and Crafts Movement, where his work focused on spinning, weaving, and fabric printing.  "He attended literary salons in Paris with Gertrude Stein, gave fashion advice to Isabella Stewart Gardner of Boston, attended post performance parties with Rosalind Russell and created performance clothing for his sister, dancer Isadora Duncan."
