Signed photograph of the beloved English pianist, who has inscribed "All good wishes / Clifford Curzon" in the lower margin.  Photographer's stamp to verso identifies the photographer as Fritz Curzon.  In very fine condition.  4 x 5.75 inches (10.2 x 14.6 cm.).

After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, Curzon studied under Artur Schnabel, Wanda Landowska, and Nadia Boulanger. His early repertoire focused on contemporary music and works from the Romantic era, but his focus shifted over time to Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, and Brahms. (19822)
