"All Star Sepian Revue" - 1930's Cotton Club Table Mallet
An original green wooden mallet from the legendary jazz club, printed on the handle with the words "BILL ROBINSON & CAB CALLOWAY / AN ALL STAR SEPIAN REVUE / COTTON CLUB / BWAY AT 48th STREET / Circle 7-1000". It was the custom at the Cotton Club to show approval of the performers by rapping on the tables with this type of small wooden hammer. Some light wear; overall fine. Mallet head measures 1.5 inches; length measures 6.75 inches. (19751)Ephemera Jazz
