Concert program from a March 8–10, 1939 performance with the New York Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall, signed to cover by the Austrian-born pianist.  The performance, which featured Schnabel as soloist for Brahms' Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, No. 2, in B-flat major, also included Fantasia on a Theme by Tallis by Williams and Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 in C major.  8 pp.  In fine condition.  6 x 9 inches (15.2 x 22.9 cm.).

Schnabel's recordings of Schubert and Beethoven are classics, considered by many as being beyond compare to this day.  His teacher Theodor Leschetizky once told him: “You will never be a pianist.  You are a musician.” (19614)
