Piano part, 49 pp.; violin and violoncello parts lacking. Upright folio, disbound, with remnants of binding. Minimal wear, soiling and foxing; final sheet frayed at gutter and partly detached; occasional corrections in pencil; otherwise in fine condition. Apparently the second London edition (first was by Longman & Broderip). 9.5 x 13.3 inches (24.2 x 33.6 cm).

The Bohemian composer Vojtěch Matyáš Jírovec (Adalbert Gyrowetz) wrote mainly wrote instrumental works, with a great production of string quartets and symphonies; his operas and singspiele numbered more than 30. His travels through Europe included meeting Mozart in Vienna, Goethe in Rome and Haydn in London and in 1804 he was appointed Vice-Kapellmeister of the Court Theatre in Vienna. He served as one of Beethoven's pallbearers in 1827.  (19568)
