Envelope signed by all four members of the influential string quartet, including first violin Paolo Borciani, second violin Elisa Pegreffi, violist Piero Farulli, and cellist Franco Rossi.  Postmarked Minneapolis, MN, November 13, 1953.  In fine condition.  3.5 x 6.5 inches (8.9 x 16.5 cm.).

Founded in 1945 in Reggio Emilia, the Quartetto Italiano had a long and influential presence both in Italy and internationally.  The group is particularly noted for its recording of the complete Beethoven string quartets, made between 1967 and 1975. (19470)
