An early example of Maazel's signature. In fine condition. 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm.).
The Gershwin Concert Orchestra toured in the early fifties, a 25-piece orchestra organized with the cooperation of Ira Gershwin and dedicated to providing the public with a comprehensive Gershwin program. Conducted by a young Maazel, the orchestra's featured soloists included Uppman, Long, and Gershwin's friend Sanromá.
