Exceedingly rare early signed photograph of the masterful violin prodigy, one of the very greatest of all fiddlers, who died tragically young. Uninscribed exampled signed with his name alone and dated 1955. 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm.). In exceptional and very fine condition. Together with a printed recital program from a performance in the Seattle area from 1955–56 season, at which he performed works by Vivaldi, Franck, Saint-Säens, Elgar, Chopin, Novacek, and Sarasate. Fine.This is one of only a few signed Rabin photographs we have ever offered. A true prize for the collector of violinist autographs! (19287)
