TLS from the German musicologist and dramaturg to Professor Irma Antonetto of the Associazione Culturale Italiana, submitting himself for consideration as a guest speaker.  Leipzig, 4 September 1974;  1 pp.  Hennenberg writes, in part, "Please allow me to introduce myself to you on the recommendation of Professor Hans Werner Henze, who, as he told me, has also written directly to you to recommend me."  Together with a typed biography to be included in programs and promotional materials.  Expected mailing folds, else fine.  8.25 x 11.75 inches (21 x 29.8 cm.).

Fritz Hennenberg has had a long and varied career, working as a professor, an accompanist with Roswitha Trexler, and as chief dramatic advisor for the Leipzig Opera in the 1990s.

Irma Antonetto (1920-1993), was founder and director of the Associazione Culturale Italiana [Association of Italian Culture] for 46 years, during which time she brought some 400 philosophers, writers, scientists, artists, and Nobel winners to lecture in Italy. She was recipient of the 1964 Cavaliere al merito della Repubblica italiana. (19137)
