Signed card from the French composer, critic, scholar and teacher, inscribed "à monsieur Roger Derby/ avec les compliments de Paul Dukas/ Nov. 1932," along with a half-tone photograph clipped from an unidentified publication and the original mailing envelope.  Fine.  Card measures 3.25 x 2.25 inch (8.2 x 5.7 cm.).

Paul Dukas remains best known for his "L'apprenti sorcier "(The Sorcerer's Apprentice) and his opera "Ariane et Barbe-bleue". (18715)
