An uncommon signed photograph from the singer, composer, and bandleader, inscribed: "To Doris/ A fine artist/ Wishing you the best of everything./ Sincerely, Blanche Calloway."  Wear and pinholes along edges and corners, small crease in upper right corner, else fine. 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm.).

Blanche Calloway was the older sister of Cab Calloway, finding fame and success before her brother.  She was the first woman to lead an all-male band. (18666)
