Original Leipzig Gewandhaus concert program, 30th of January, 1845, including works by Beethoven, David, and Benedict among others.  4 pp., scattered foxing, mild surface creases, overall very fine. 7.25 x 9.5 inches (18.5 x 24 cm.)

Presented in two parts, the first part included performances of the overture to Benedict's Die Bräute von Venedig, recitative and an aria from Händel's "Herkules" as sung by one Miss Lincoln, Andante and Scherzo capriccioso for the violin by Ferdinand David, an unattributed Schottische Nationallieder likely by Mendelssohn, Concert-Variationen for violin by David, and The 24th Psalm by Schneider. The second portion of the concert was a performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 4 in B-flat major. (18495)
