"Sweet Bird of Youth" – Signed Souvenir Program

Signed souvenir program from the touring 1959 Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' Sweet Bird of Youth, with signatures from star Paul Newman and several members of the ensemble, including a young Rip Torn.  16 pp., 9 x 12 inches (22.8 x 30 cm.), light surface creases and wear along spine and edges, else fine.

Tennessee Williams' Sweet Bird of Youth opened on Broadway on March 10, 1959, directed by Elia Kazan and starring Paul Newman, Geraldine Page, Sidney Blackmer, Diana Hyland, Logan Ramsey, Madeleine Sherwood, and Rip Torn. The play ran at the Martin Beck Theatre for 375 performances.
