Kostrukoff, Nicholas. (1898-) & Don Cossack Chorus

Two Signed Photographs

Two photographs, one of Don Cossack Chorus leader Nicholas Kostrukoff, dated 12/14/1944, and one of the entire chorus, signed by most of its members. Both with light wear around the edges, otherwise in fine condition. 8 x 10 inches (21.5 x 25.8 cm).

The Don Cossack Choir, founded in the late 1920's by Nicholas Kostrukoff, was one of many male choirs consisting entirely of exiled Cossacks. They toured the world for 45 years, disbanding when ill health forced Kostrukoff to retire. (18291)
