Signed photograph of the French pianist whose recordings of the Mozart concertos with Szell are models of elegance and transparency. In the photo, he can be seen leaning against a grand piano and holding a lit cigarette in his left hand. Inscription reads: "To Mr. Robert Gillespie/ in rememberance of my concert at Maryville College (1935)/ very sincerely,/ Robert Casadesus/ Dec. 1945."
