Signed Photograph with Autograph Musical Quotations and Conductor's Baton
Signed photograph of the American composer and conductor, surrounded by fifteen autograph musical quotations from various of his works, and framed together with what is presumed to be his conducting baton. Herbert is shown in a standing portrait by White of New York and has inscribed and signed at the head to Louis H. Eisenlohr (noted Philadelphian and vice-president of the Otto Eisenlohr & Bros. Cigar Manufacturers). Image size 7 x 8.5 inches, mounted to 9.5 x 12 inches and in a shadowbox frame to an overall size of 18.5 x 20 inches. Bone baton length 19 inches.
