Signed ensemble of four half-tone photographs of the important German-born conductor, pianist, and composer. Under the caption "Bruno Walter Dirigiert" ("Bruno Walter conducts"), he is shown in four different moments of performance, captioned "Largo," "Pastorale," "Andante," and "Allegro." Walter has signed and inscribed at the foot to Mrs. Elise Friedhofer, dating San Francisco, April 1951. Photographs by E. Salomon. Clipped from a newspaper and mounted on paper; edges irregular and with some rather heavy toning and creases. Overall very good. 9.25 x 13.5 inches (23.5 x 34 cm). (18113)
