Dohnányi, Ernö. (1877–1960)

Two Concert Programs

Two single-sheet concert programs from London piano recitals by the Hungarian composer, pianist, and conductor. Dohnanyi appeared at St. James's Hall on November 28, 1898, and February 27, 1899. The first program included works by Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, and Liszt, as well as Dohnanyi's own 3 Intermezzi and Gavotte and Musette, and Délibes-Dohnanyi's Valse "Naila." The second program included Bach's Italian Concerto, Schubert's Sonata in A minor, and pieces by Brahms and Liszt. Folding creases, some toning and losses to the left edge of each; overall very good. Each 7 x 8 inches (17.6 x 20.8 cm). (18088)
