Singed photograph of the two stars together in the 1941 musical film Louisiana Purchase. Both have signed on the image in blue ink. Press caption at the foot of the image and further typed caption on the verso. Light warping and some edge and surface wear; overall very good. 10 x 8 inches (25.5 x 20.8 cm).

Louisiana Purchase (1941) was a film adaptation of the Irving Berlin stage musical of the same name. Satirizing Louisiana governor Huey Long, the plot concerns an honest U.S. Senator who travels to Louisiana to investigate corruption in the Louisiana Purchase Company, where the company's lawyer tries to distract him with the attentions of two beautiful women. Starring comedian Bob Hope, the film featured Norwegian ballerina and actress Vera Zorina, Victor Moore and Irène Bordoni reprising their stage roles.  (17983)
