Signed program from the Russian soprano and her husband, cellist Mstislav Rostropovich. The two performed a recital at Boston's Symphony Hall on March 20, 1975, with Rostropovich accompanying Vishnevskaya at the piano. Both have signed boldly across the program listing, with an inscription to collector Paul McMahon. 4 pp. Fine. 6 x 9 inches (15.3 x 23 cm).The cellist and soprano couple defected from the Soviet Union in 1974 and settled in the United States, where Rostropovich became the music director of the National Symphony Orchestra.
