Signed brightly-colored caricature painting of the important violinist, whose face is shown on an abstract background with a violin scroll, bow, and musical symbols. Kreisler has signed and dated 1937 at the upper left. The drawing was used for newspaper publications. Rather toned with some creases; overall very good. 6.75 x 10.5 inches, framed to an overall size of 9.5 x 12.5 inches (24.5 x 32 cm). (17781)
