He has penned a quotation of eight measures from his parody song "Thou of my thou", boldly signed and dated March [18]93. Very fine. 5.5 x 3 inches (14.1 x 7.6 cm).

The song "Thou of my thou," a take-off on the contemporary trend of romantic songs with phrases such as "heart of my heart" and "soul of my soul," was composed and first performed by Grossmith in the late 1880's. (17602)
