Signed photograph of the important violinist, who is shown in a portrait holding his instrument and has penned at the foot: "To Herman J. Probst, cordially Fritz Kreisler, 1956." Some light surface cracks; overall fine. 8 x 10 inches (20.5 x 25.3 cm). Together with a typed letter signed (February 8, 1956; 1 p.) from Peggy Lewis, assistant producer of the classical music radio and television program "The Telephone Hour" to Herman Probst, regarding obtaining the photograph of Kreisler.
