Signed Christmas card from the important British composer to Betty Randolph Bean, director of Boosey & Hawkes in New York. Inside a card with a reproduction line drawing of the Red House in Aldeburgh and bearing the printed message: "With best wishes for Christmas and the New Year from Ben (at home) and Peter (abroad)," he has added a note: "gone where?" above "Peter," signed "Ben," and added: "Wish I were with you all."
